The contractor subcontracted the absorber and ducting works, under which subcontract a dispute arose over the valuation of a variation account. The brief was to value the variation account.

What we did

Mill Court created a master valuation schedule, working through 2500 claims for change.  We produced metrics so that the client could measure progress.  We also identified the top ten claims by value, and worked on neutralising those claims as a priority.


We managed to successfully neutralising a large number of claims without entitlement.  We significantly reduced the value of claims for which entitlement existed, by accurately re-assessing the quantum.
